Use AdSense links on your site

traffic generating tips, web development

First, for those who are not sure what AdSense is, AdSense ads are the little Google text links (you can offer graphic links now too) that web pages display to entice browsers to click on an advertising link to another web page. The AdSense user (your web page) gets revenue each time someone clicks on one of these links from your page (it isn’t much so don’t get too excited).

But the reason to use AdSense on your page is not for the revenue. You add these links to your web site because in order to help you serve Google ads to your page, Google has to first index your entire site!  I’ve not heard of any “proof” that AdSense users get preferential treatment, but does it certainly won’t hurt! And, you might make a few bucks in the process.

For more information about how to add AdSense links to your page, see the AdSense discussion forum.

The way the search engine works currently is the user types in as many words as necessary to express what they are looking for, and then presses enter for a response to that search request. Read the rest of this entry »
