As a contributing author I provided a selection entitled "Keep the Holiday Spirit, Even if You Cannot Be Together Over the Holidays". The article provides ideas for divorced moms and dads on how to stay connected with their children even if they cannot be with them physically during the holidays. Tips include using new technologies such as interactive software like Second Life to stay connected and still be a part of their children's lives, even when they are apart.

This is a truly marvelous story! The sad part is the reality of it; while the characters and story line are compelling, it is extraordinary to realize that the story was based on real events. How wonderful it would have been to be a mouse in the corner during many of the scenes portrayed here. I was a bit disappointed that some of the story was different than others I've read from this time. Overall though, both me and my teenage daughter LOVED this book!

- Is Gay Marriage Really a 'Right'? -

Since the November election, gay rights activists have been foaming at the mouth over lost opportunity for gay marriage legislation. But all these efforts must beg the question, “Just why should gay rights include marriages that mimic those of heterosexual marriages?”

In today’s world, all it takes is two hours to ruin a lifetime of work and effort. Most interesting though is that behaviors haven’t changed for the better - just the medium of exposing those who behave in stupid, sexist, degrading, and wildly tasteless ways. Perhaps this event will go down in political history as the “Favreau effect” - what not to do right before you start a job with a new new presidential administration.

McCain having a hard time keeping up with the lies.
Palin thinks she's ready to lead because she had an "okay" debate. But McCain knows better! She's good as a pitbull (all bark and no brains)
Great interview with the next first lady (we hope)
