Let’s help Cafferty show Palin the way out!

CNN political reporter Jack Cafferty needs our help! Cafferty recently asked viewers to answer the question “Will McCain ask Sarah Palin to step down?”

We need to let Jack know that the question should not be “will he ask her” but instead should be “how quickly should Palin step down”.

This theme is now a very prevalent one, and something I have never seen in politics before. Even Dan Quayle, most acknowledged, had the basic intellectual capacity to do the job if necessary. Palin just has not shown anyone that she has even a basic understanding of world or domestic concepts; enough that she would even be able to lead a group of experts in the task of making important decisions.

Sadly, many women I talk to think she’s a “go getter” and because she’s been a “hockey mom with a career” she’s qualified. I’ve alluded that I believe Sarah is hindering the prospects of future female politicians and career women who would be fully capable of the #2 spot by making a fool of herself and successful women everywhere who have truly tried to overcome the stereotype that a woman isn’t as smart or as capable as any man.

Given today’s political and economic climate I think it is about time we told McCain THANKS BUT NO THANKS to Sarah Palin. If he doesn’t want to remove her from the ticket, then he can just go home and enjoy his seven mansions in solitude and peace. Palin, may she rest in the satisfaction of her deeds, has not only ruined her own chances for a solid, legitimate political office in the future, but has also taken down with her many women who did not deserve to be lumped in with the idiocy that is the Palin campaign.
