Average Family Carolers

Flash required

Many years ago my girls and recorded Christmas songs for our family. My girls were young and eager to be party to such “traditional craziness” back then, and actually enjoyed the effort although it took weeks and weeks for us to complete all the songs.

We even gave ourselves a name, the “Average Family Carolers”, and created CD covers and realistic looking labels. These are my favorites songs from the first and second albums we created and a few additional ones that never got added to any particular album.

I never seem to get bored listening to these every year, though my kids groan every time I take them out and share them with others (I think they secretly like it though!). My children are all teenagers now with one even on her own, and the older they get it seems the more these songs mean to me. So this Christmas, I am thankful for the memories I have of the precious years when my children were still young and full of curiosity!

Please enjoy the songs and let us know how you liked them!
